To the end of the world (almost) and back again

A short route to the head of the valley and back again, taking in a few of the hamlets. The Giffre valley is a cul de sac culminating in the beautiful Sixt Fer-a-Cheval which is part of the SIxt-Passy National Nature Reserve - some 9,000 ha of protected land ranging in elevation from 900 m up to over 3,000 m.
