Mallory park

It was a very interesting day riding in my opinion, we had polar opposite weather conditions but I thoroughly enjoyed riding in them! In the morning it was wet wet wet and at lunchtime it became a MONSOON! But within minutes of the down pour ending it dried up completely and we had to put our dry tires in! It was the first time I'd ridden in the pure dry since Spain in October but it's safe to say that I'll be ready to take on any weather when we get to cadwell in 2 weeks time. I matched my wet time to my dry time and had a good battle with some CB500s and other similar bikes, oh, and a 1290 SUPER-DUKE!

In some ways it was a mildly emotional day as well, I may not have shown it to others but there was a tear brought to my eye at certain points of the day as unfortunately my close friend Ben Godfrey was involved in a collision which caused him to gain his wings early, I pray that I have done him proud by getting my head down and getting on with riding as he would want me to.

Overall, an interesting day, interesting conditions but an exciting day to say the least
