Aegean see has a wild beauty , deep crystal waters ,but can be wavy due to the north winds. On the contrary  pagasitikos gulf is like a closed lake, always protected from all winds ,having shallow waters. According to the wind forecast you choose the best . Here we give you some ideas for the southern part of pelion mountain. 

Vyzitsa to Afissos beaches. kosta kali beach bar (organized with facilities) or kalifteri or lagoudi (non organized , you park at the cemetary ) . Half an our way . Then go to potistika sandy beach (aegean sea) which has an organized part and the nudist hidden part. Big parking space and basic facilities. 45 minutes from afissos area. Nearby is kommos beach (walking distance) . From the beach you can return through traditional neohori to vyzitsa (20 min)
