Pre season testing! - Part 1
Hello hello!! I'd just like to introduce myself before we get into everything!
My name is Lissy and I'll be writing about my racing season on a Yamaha-R3. I'm really excited to tell everyone about my experiences this year and hope you all enjoy my entries :)
So my first test day at Mallory didn't quite go to plan as it was very wet, very cold and very windy! But that didn't stop me from getting out on my bike, nor did it stop others. That day was mostly about getting used to the bike and how everything felt again as if not ridden since October in Alcarràs, Spain. I did a few sessions of riding in the pouring down rain and was gaining a little bit of speed each time I went out, slowly but surely I made small progress, but that was to be expected. We got to about lunch time and we decided enough was enough as I was getting blown around like a paper bag, others had given up as well, people were falling off here there and everywhere! I was the only one left in my pit garage by lunch time. But.. onwards and upwards as the next test at Mallory was a little more successful..
