Mas Can Lluis Bed and Breakfast

Carien and Rinus give you a warm welcome to Mas Can Lluis. This restored farmhouse is located at the foot of the Pyrenees overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. To spend the night you can book a room, an apartment, but also a night in a gypsy car (pipowagen) is possible.

Can Lluis can accommodate 1 to 16 people. Accommodation is possible in various ways, including half board (breakfast, accommodation and dinner including wine) from € 70 per person. All rooms have their own shower and toilet, separate beds and are equipped with comfortable mattresses. As passionate motorcyclists, Carien and Rinus have beautiful motorbike routes available, but guided motorbike routes are also possible. The Pyrenees, but also the beautiful coastal roads of the Costa Brava are a pleasure for the motorcyclist. After the motorcycle trip, take a nice dip in the swimming pool, have a beer or wine in the general area and then enjoy a delicious meal on the terrace.

Can Lluis is completely autonomous; the energy is generated by solar panels and stored. Water is collected and stored in a reservoir. Of course there is WIFI available for the guests. A larger city like Figueres is around 15 minutes' drive away.

The motorcycle season runs throughout the year in Catalonia. Also in the winter there are many sunny days and it is pleasant to ride a motorcycle on the winding roads on the Costa Brava. The region is here called the Emporda and is culinary highly regarded. Good wines, combined with fine local products, sometimes produce surprising dishes, such as Arroz Mar i Montaña, a local variant of the well-known paella.

Can Lluis is two kilometers outside the village of Cistella at the foot of the Spanish Pyrenees. From here motorcycling gives you all possibilities for what a motorcyclist wants. Drive along the Costa Brava, via Cap de Creus, towards the Pyrenees and make a stopover in Andorra and then drive back through the interior with the most beautiful motorways towards Can Lluis. Given the diversity, you will not easily get out of here! But also for motorcyclists who like to ride off-road, this part in Spain is a popular region.
