Chez Scallan B&B Bed and Breakfast

We're about half way down on the right hand side if you're looking at a map of France. About 15mins from the A39 (Dijon/Dole - Lyon/Geneva motorway) Junction 7.1 we offer a handy break if your en route or a good location should you wish to tour the area. To find us DON'T use the address on your GPS. Use the village name and then D970. That's the main road and we are at the western end of the village.

Each of our three rooms is en-suite. One has a double bed, another has twin beds and the third has a double bed and a set of bunk beds, sleeping up to four guests. We offer an evening meal to our biker guests (on reservation only) that consists of four courses as well as aperitifs and drinks all included in the price. B&B is 60 Euros based on two people sharing and a supplement of 10 Euros per person extra in the Family room. We offer "long stay" discounts for stays of four night or more.

We can offer the use of our "Chaudiere" which will generally dry kit out reasonably well or if you've got gear which is OK for the tumble dryer then there's always that option.

The trusty steed can spend the night in the barn (capacity up to 5 bikes, or one Goldwing with trailer), safe and dry and we can always give you a bucket of warm water for wipe down purposes. As well as this, should you have any problems there is a small workshop in the village which may be able to help with a "get you home" patch.

Normal check in time is after 1700 but if it's lashing it down just phone us and see if we can check you in earlier. We do ask our guests to check out by 1130 at the latest. 

We're a B&B so Breakfast is included in the room rate. The evening meal (28.00 Euros per adult) is tailored to avoid any nasty surprises (we always ask if there is anything that you don't like or a re allergic to so we can avoid serving them) and includes aperitifs (normally served at 1930) and drinks with the meal (normally served at 2000). 

You're welcome to sit in the garden to relax (weather permitting), stay in touch with the world by logging on to our free WIFI or ask us about things to do in the area. We've lived here since 2003 so we know a few things to do!

There are no shops in the village (nearest being in St. Germain du Bois at 5 kms) but there is a bar/restaurant at the end of the village. We don't recommend walking the 1.1 miles as the road through the village isn't too safe but we have been know to ferry our guests there. Frequently it'll be the bar owner who'll give you a lift back!
