The Old Cider House bed & breakfast accommodation in the heart of the Village of Nether Stowey, Quantock Hills, Somerset. With its four en suite bedrooms, owners Ian and Lynne welcome guests looking for a relaxing B&B break in their friendly guesthouse. If you’re looking for accommodation in the West Country then Nether Stowey is the ideal village location.


Here at the Old Cider House we pride ourselves on offering a friendly home from home service to our big bike guests. We have our own gated car park so you can park up and leave your bike out of site for the night. We are fully licensed and offer a fixed menu in our cosy dining room and even have our own on site micro–brewery. Alternatively you can dine out at one of the friendly village pubs in Nether Stowey, without having to worry about drinking and driving.

The Old Cider House is located in the village of Nether Stowey just off the A39 between Bridgwater and Minehead. The A39 offers some of the best scenic views in the West Country as the route winds it’s way along the north coast of Somerset and on into Devon. Let’s not forget Porlock Hill famous for it’s 1:4 meandering climb up onto the slopes of Exmoor.


Check In/Out Times

Check-in is between 4pm & 6pm. However we are happy to receive gustes outside of these times if you let us know in advance. After a home cooked English Breakfast in our cosy dining room check- out is at 10.30am.


Board Type

Our standard rates are on a bed and breakfast basis for two people sharing a double/twin room. We also offer a fixed price evening meal on request. Please see our web page for further infomation.


Features

We have four ensuite double rooms two of which can be made up with twin beds. Behind the house we have our own gated car park. We also have a small micro-brewery where guests can taste the latest beer in production.


What's Nearby

The Old Cider House lies at the foot of the Quantock Hills; Britain's first area of outstanding Natural Beauty, in the the village of Nether Stowey. The village was the home of the Romantic poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge and also boasts three real ale pubs and two cafes all of which are less than a few minutes walk from the bed and breakfast.
