Arden House Guest House
Queens Lane, Arundel, United Kingdom
Welcome to Arden House
Lucie & Iain welcome you to our warm and friendly guest house, situated in a peaceful location just a few minutes walk from Arundel Castle and the town centre, with its fantastic range of independent shops and restaurants.
We are able to accommodate up to 14 guests in a choice of Twin/Double room, with en-suite or shared facilities. Our comfortable rooms offer free WiFi, complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits and water, and our non en-suite rooms come with fluffy bathrobes and slippers to use during your stay.
Free on-site parking is available (subject to availabilty), together with limited lockable cycle storage.
Arundel is a must-visit destination for guests on touring holidays. The town is steeped in history and offers a wonderful range of visitor attractions, including the historic Arundel Castle, Arundel Cathedral, Arundel Museum, Swanbourne Lake, Wildfowl & Wetlands Centre, plus many fantastic independent shops, bars and restaurants - and 8 pubs!
For those wishing to explore the surrounding area, Arundel falls within the Southdowns National Park, offering stunning walking and cycling routes. For beachlovers, we are just a short drive from some lovely beaches, from the unspoilt Climping beach, to the more traditional seaside towns of Worthing and Littlehampton. There are many other interesting local attractions, including Bignor Roman Villa, Weald & Downland Open Air Museum, Amberley Working Museum, and a host of stately homes and gardens.
We are also just a 20 minute drive to the Goodwood Estate, home to the Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival, and Glorious Quatar Goodwood (horse racing) festivals.
For guests wishing to add an activity to their visit to Arundel, co-owner Iain Stirling is a qualified clay target shooting instructor, and 1:1 and Group instruction or have-a-go sessions can be booked with him at our local gun club, www.southdowngunclub.co.uk.
