Maison St Georges for Bikers Gîte

Brit run and serving Motorcyclists since 1998, we are located just outside of Narbonne close to the Mediterranean coast  of Southern France. We offer both Bed & Breakfast and self catering accommodation. The house itself is a beautifully renovated "maison de maitre" dating from the early 1800's with many of the original features preserved.

We offer secure garaging for your pride and joy, and as always a "Cold Beer in the Fridge and a Warm Welcome" to be had.

The roads are out of this world and the scenery in this region  amazing.

The golden sandy beaches of the Mediterrannean are only 12km. Close by are the historic walled mediaeval city of Carcassonne, truly one of the wonders of the world; the famous wine producing regions of the Corbieres; the Minervois (Best wine in the world 2006). The magnificent ruins of the Cathar Castles, the scenic Canal du Midi and just over an hour away the Costa Brava coastline of Spain, and why not a days ride up into the Pyrenees and Andorra? Roman Nimes with its ampitheatre and  the Pont du Gard are just over an hours ride.

Breakfast (Included with B&B bookings, optional with Studio rentals) is a full continental one: tea/coffee,oj, fresh baked croissants, bread, fruit juice, cereals, home made jams, ham, cheese etc, 

For evening meals there is a choice of restaurants in Coursan, all within a five minute walk of Maison St Georges.

Check in times are only appropriate, Check in is generally after 17.00h (5pm) and check out the morning of departure before 10.00h. If you are running late on arrival just send us an SMS/texto

We offer both types of accommodation; either B&B or self catering accommodation. Just a question of letting us know what you require really. We have two appartments that are both fully equipped. If you wish to book the appartments but have breakfast in the main house just let us know at the time of booking.

The property a "Maison de Maitre" and dating from the early 1800's is  set back from the road and there is a courtyard in front with tables chairs and a BBQ for the use of guests. Motorcycles can be parked in our secure garage. The main property includes many of its orignal features,  its marble fireplaces, tiled floors and stone spiral staircase

We are located in a small market town and as such have all conviences at hand, from restaurants to pizzas to Kebabs, cafe's etc. In addition there is a Super U grocery store, a petrol station and a large Lidl.
