Welcome to La Vaisse Chambre & table d'hotes

We would like to welcome you to the website of Chambres et table d'hôtes La Vaisse. At almost 900 meters altitude you will find peace and relaxation, against the slopes of the Col des Supeyres. You can ride, walk, cycle, mountain bike, visit nice towns and villages, cozy markets and flea markets, castles, monasteries, waterfalls, rivers and volcanoes. In winter you can go cross country skiing, kite skiing, alpine skiing, snow walking, all within 45 minutes of our house. There is something to do every day, and just doing nothing or reading a book in the garden is certainly an option. The swimming pool will be constructed in the spring of 2022, a 'piscine naturelle', well in time for the summer of '22.

It is possible to dine with us every evening. We offer you table d'hotes with a house aperitif, starter, main course, platter with regional cheeses, dessert. Accompanied by delicious wine that you can choose yourself from our extensive wine list. We'd be happy to give you some advice!

Together with two befriended chambres d'hotes in the area we have a 10-day hiking holiday composed for you!

We heartily recommend our hot tub, especially for the winter period!

In view of COVID-19, we have taken the following measures:

Warm welcome without shaking hands, check 'pass sanitaire' in accordance with the regulations of the French government, disinfecting hand gel, daily cleaning, daily cleaning sanitary facilities, bed linen / towels are washed at 60° C.

La Vaisse is situated in the regional parc Livradois-Forez. It is one of the two parcs in l’Auvergne and one of the largest parcs in France. Livradois and Forez both are mountain-chains, up to 1600 m, and the Dore-valley is right in between.

We have various hikes and walks for you starting from La Vaisse. It goes without saying that we provide a tasteful packed lunch! The Dore valley invites to make cycling tours of various distances.

Your room will be ready for you from 4 p.m., we kindly ask check-out before 10.30 a.m.

Board Type

Breakfast is included in the room price.

You also can have lunch or a packed lunch.

Dinner is possible every evening. We prepare a 'gourmand' four course dinner, with preferably local and seasonal products. Everyday fresh and home made!
