Chalet Dahu Gîte

Chalet Dahu is a traditional pinewood chalet, in a great location, next to the blue piste and 250 metres from the resort centre.

Open Summer and Winter There are five twin bedrooms and one double bedroom, all with their own bathrooms. Most have their own balconies, with excellent views onto the piste. The open plan living area is cosy and inviting with log fire, and a large terrace looking out across the piste. The kitchen is well equipped. 

Possiblity to store road bikes in the boot room.

There is an electric boot warmer in the ski room where you are able to leave your skis safely and enjoy the luxury of warm boots the next morning. With an outdoor hot tub for your enjoyment at the end of a hard day's skiing, this chalet ticks all the right boxes.

If you want a day off from cycling, or there are non-cyclists in the group, there are plenty of other actiivities to do in and around Courchvel. 

For adrenaline seekers, there is parapenting, rock climbing, and white water rafting.  There's gentle walks from La Tania.  The ski lifts are free in the Courchevel valley in the summer. Take the bubble from La Tania, and have lunch at the Bouc Blanc restaurant. Sit out on the deck and enjoy the views.  Either take the bubble back down after lunch or take the bear track back down to the village. There are also mountain refuges, which are relatively accessible, some offering overnight stays. The tourist office organise lots of actiivities.  It is possible to visit the co-operative in Moutiers where cheese is made. There are also visits to farms. Further afield there is the beautiful town of Annecy, where you can hire a boat. 

There are lots of shops for those wanting a retail fix. Or simply, relax by the lake with a picnic.

Closer by, head down to Bozel (20 min drive), which has a swimming lake and a lake side restaurant and bar.

The price for seven nights is 1400 Euros.

Changeover is normally Saturday (but we can be flexible)

The property will be cleaned after your departure however you are required to:– leave the property tidy– remove all rubbish and recycling before your departure– clean the fireplace– put all linen and towels into one large pile on the ground floor of the property– leave all the kitchen contents clean and put back in the cupboards, empty the dishwasher or drying rack before your departure– return furniture and other items to their original positionA surcharge of 50-150 euros will be applicable if any of the above hasn’t been done.A Welcome Hamper of Essentials to get you startedWelcome Pack includes:2 litres of UHT milk, 20 English teabags, 1 packet of coffee for the coffee machine, 4 bin bags, 1 toilet roll per room, 1 bottle of red wine, 1 bottle of white wine, washing up liquid, sponge, 3 tea-towels and dishwasher tablets.
