Villa Limonade Bed and Breakfast

Villa Limonade is an ideal base for both cycling and motor bike touring holidays. We are located half way between the cities of Beziers and Carcassonne , just 1.5km from Homps on the Canal du midi , so for cyclists cycling the canal we are an ideal stopping off point. We have a large secure garage on site which is capable of storing 6 motorcycles or 15 bicycles in safety. For cyclists we have basic repair facilities and spares. The area has a multitude of great rides for both motor bikes and cyclists alike with pretty villages such as Minerve, La Somail, Bize Minervois all within easy distance. If you wish to catch a bit of the local flavour, Olonzac has a weekly street market every Tuesday which is well known and respected in the area , or a great place to visit is Les Halles in Narbonne for foodies and people watchers alike.

Olonzac is a year round destination and indeed we are open all year round , so if you fancy a visit during the wine harvest or maybe a bike tour and Rugby we are wll placed to offer lots of things to do no matter what time of the year it is.........even the sea and great beaches are only 30 minutes away.

Check in is from 16.00 each day and check out is by 11.00

We have a number of options available ,our basic offering is Bed and Breakfast , we do however offer Table D'hôte ,evening meal, which is €30 for 3 courses but also includes all your wines and drinks. Bookings need to be made at least 24 hours in advance or at breakfast on the day required.

We know at times cyclists and bikers struggle to find options for lunch so we therefore offer a "pic-nic" which can be ordered the night before (€8)

It should also be noted that Olonzac and the immediate area also has numerous restaurants varying in food style and price, we would be more than happy to recommend and make reservations for you.

Villa Limonade was converted into a Chambre D'Hôte just over 10 years ago , we regularly update the furnishings and finsihes and are proud to offer 6 all ensuite bedrooms that are also fully air-conditioned. The rooms vary from a Standard Double , Standard Twin, Superior Double and for those fancying treating themselves the Suite Printemps Bleu. All rooms have a coffee making machine, kettle and unlimited wifi. Outside we have a beautiful enclosed garden with swimming pool and lots of seating and tables , perfect to relax after a hard day in the sadlle and enjoy a cold beer or rosé from the vineyard just down the road. The garden is where we serve our evening meal in the summer and we also have a large BBQ installed there as well.

All our rooms are furnished to a high standard and each one can be seen on the web site as well as our Gite Maison Du Chateau (this is a minimum 5 day stay in summer and 4 days off peak).

Our garage is part of the property and is large and easily accessible from the road , it is totally secure and able to hold at least 6 motorcycles and 15 bicycles in safety, we do also have extensive off road parking available as well.

We are located within the Village of Olonzac just off the main route between Beziers and Carcassonne (both a 30 minute drive), the area has a multitude of activities and things to see , too many to list but feel free to ask us for ideas. The local village has 2 bars, 4 restauarants , 3 boulangerie, post office, 3 pharmacies and a supermarket........all within a 5 minute walk, the village of Homps on the Canal du Midi is only 2 km away.

There are numerous vineyards within a 10 minute ride and many bike trails and glorius winding roads for a great day out on the motor bike.......Villa Limonade is a perfect location for a 1 night stop over or a longer stay to really enjoy and explore the region.
