This 15th-century former farmhouse is from days when the owner would hang flags from the top floor to tell the local farmers to take their cattle to higher ground if heavy rain was coming!

All the rooms are self contained and located in the garden, The Orchard and Hopper’s Rooms being in converted outbuildings offering bright and relaxing accommodation. 

The Shepherd’s Hut…well is a Shepherd’s Hut but we are sure you will find it comfortable being carefully designed based on original 18th century drawings and having a log burner to enjoy in the evenings. 

A hearty cooked or continental breakfast is served daily in the light and airy breakfast room which overlooks the gardens. Please note on Mondays we provide a continental breakfast in a hamper to take in your room. Broadband internet access is available through a wireless network connection in each room. Just ask for the key when you arrive.
