Le Grand Trianon Bed and Breakfast

The building Le Grand Trianon, the last house in this hamlet, has three parts with a floor surface of 500 square metres. There are five rooms for our guests, multiple terraces, and it is situated very quiet at an altitude of 800 metres. There’s a lovely free view over the valley, from out of the big garden.  In this garden we have fruit trees and flavours. We will serve you most of the time our fresh biological vegetables from our own garden. We also use products and specialties from the area and we make our own marmalades, ham, pâté and a special red wine.

Lugeastre Bas is an authentic hamlet and there are twelve houses. When you enter this hamlet, it seems to be that the time has stood still for fifty years. The atmosphere and the surroundings, everything gives you that impression. The accommodation is situated directly among several stroller routes. Le Grand Trianon offers you modern comfort and is a quiet place to distress in a wonderful green area in The Parc Livradois Forez, the south part of the Massif Central.

Every day a two cours plate is available even without reservation.

Brioude : is a small town at 430 meters altitude, between the mountains and the river Allier, with a warm and sunny climate. Brioude has a characteristic old center with bars and restaurants. The famous Romanesque basilica Saint-Julien lies in the heart of the center.

Langeac : a little bit smaller than Brioude, but not less interesting. Situated along the river Allier, typical French and with a friendly ambience. South of Langeac, the beautiful mountains of La Margeride are perfect for a tour with your car or motorbike.

La Chaise Dieu  : a village at more than 1.000 meters altitude which is well-known for its cathedral and a popular classical music event every year in August, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors.
