What if we have a cancellation/no-show?
You deal directly with the #rider for bookings and communication. Please see details in our T&C’s.
What if we overbook?
If you have overbooked, then you need to inform the #rider at the earliest opportunity.
Do we need undercover parking/storage?
No, please see options to describe your facilities when registering.
Do we need secure parking/storage?
No, please see options to describe your facilities when registering.
Can we add our specific security measures to the site?
Yes, please see the various facilities icons and descriptions when you are ready to list your property.
Do we need chains?
Again, No, please see options to describe your facilities when registering.
What if we haven’t got secure parking/storage but are bike/MB friendly?
Unfortunately, in this case we cannot list you, as our sole purpose is to provide accommodation that has Secure parking and/or storage for #riders. However, if you take a look at our registration form then you might be able to get a clearer idea of what we would require for you to list, perhaps you have already got it or maybe it is something you could provide for minimal expense?
Listing a property
Once you have registered for your account then you will be able to list your property for FREE;
- Click ‘list a property’
- Enter your property title, it’s a good idea to ensure that the same name is used across all platforms and social media platforms.
- Enter a property reference if you require it? This is more for use by our Multi-property subscribers to differentiate between properties, but by all means add one if you wish.
- Enter the properties phone number.
- Input your properties website address.
- Add any additional platforms that you advertise on? a separate accommodation booking platform.
- Select from the drop down list your property type- Hotel, campsite etc
- If you are registered with any of the various third party organisations (AA, TripAdvisor, etc) and have been awarded a rating by them then add the rating here. If you are not and haven’t then please leave this blank. As you start to receive feedback from our users then your star rating will increase on our platform rating system.
- Add a welcome message, this message is shown on our grid view of properties and on the pop up when viewing the map.
- Enter a more detailed description and expand on your welcome message. Highlight the area and your amenities.
- Enter your check in and check out times. Important to ensure people are not arriving early and leaving late.
- Enter what meal options you can provide.
- Enter a more detailed description of property features
- Enter a more detailed description of places, events, things to do in your area.
- Use the top address search bar to help you fill out your property address automatically or alternatively input this manually. Please ensure that when you input manually the latitude and longitude are the correct way around.
- Add your features by highlighting each icon, these icons will appear alongside your property listing on grid view and in more detail when people click on your property.
- Next add some of your photos, click on the tick box to enable one of your photos to be your listings attention grabber.
- Accommodation set up is next, this is where you input what rooms you have, how many of that type you have, minimum amount of nights, its price per night, its capacity, capacity for pets and children and your total amount of bedrooms.
- Select if you wish to show your availability by highlighting yes or no in the drop down.
- You can upload an specific image of a room by clicking upload image tab.
- Next input your availability for this one room by using the booking calendar. You can amend this at any time as people come and go. Or block book a date range out should you be going away yourselves for any reason.
- For each different room type then you will need to add another by clicking +Add Accommodation Type tab.
- Once you are happy with your content, descriptions, photo’s, prices and amenities then you have the option of saving or saving and set live. You can edit these details and availability as much as you want by just clicking the edit button.
- You can unpublish, delete or edit your property at any time by using the relevant buttons at the bottom of the edit page.
Once you have saved and set live, your property will then be held for review by us, we need to do this to ensure your listing is vetted and researched to prevent any misunderstanding between you and your future guests. We aim to take no longer than 24 hrs to complete this. If you are concerned about the length of time we are taking then please contact us and we will provide a reason for the delay.
